What I ended up doing was buying from New England Marine and Industrial - it was .12 a foot for 600 ft. of 3/8 - $72.00. This is a local shop me for - Portsmouth NH & Gloucster MA, by doing so I avoided shippping. You could call & order it from them, but it might not be worth it. There are pleanty of others out there online & not, the price I listed is about what you should expect for economy twisted nylon.
