Just called Anglers pro shop in Bklyn. and was told that they have them in every color under the sun except silver and they said it'll be at least a year before they get them???? Any validity to that? Does anyone else know where else I can pick one up in silver? Not a fan of "the ball" style handle.

Thanx, BF9

Jigging Master Handle

I ordered a handle for my 665 2speed from

http://www.fishingbuddy.com.sg/product_view.php?product_id=344

The handle was more expensive than the ones from Anglers Pro Shop, but well worth it.

I bought the handle in black to go on the standard alluminum finished reel and it looks great and feels great too...

P.S. Couldnt figure out how to post a "hyperlink"
Could anyone PM me how to do this.. Thanks

The handle KCferry is refering too is my favorite as well. Its the Jigging master handle. I would suggest that one if anglers pro shop doesnt have the other one but it will cost you $130 with shipping from singapore. Its the most comfortable handle i have.

Here is my son Anthony's 665 2 speed with the handle

I'm pretty sure you have to ship the reel to Accurate to have it installed.
yeah i remember hearing that, it still might be a viable option though, as tuna jigging season is a ways away. I hate those new-style ball handles too, but the ATD handles are sooo nice.

why not just get the accurate ATD handle? isn't it a direct fit?

We had an atd handle first and changed out. You can do it yourself pretty easily. I just saw some ATD handles on ebay not too long ago for like $50

Which one dont you care for? The plain accurate t-handle, the atd or the jigging master?

I need to go to Anglers pro shop and at least "feel" the Jigging master handles first. If it feels good, I'll buy one. I know they're "supposed" to be the better/more comfortable handle but from the looks of it, I dont know...all those holes...it seems to me that the ATD would be more comfy. Nice and smooth, indentions for your fingers etc. Of course this is all what I gather from just "looking".
We'll see
