Robbery at sea possible reason for fishermen's disappearance

Making a living on the watr is hard no mater where you live and fish.
I would question going fishing for real anymore - not tourist fishing - with my counterparts in Jamaica, something I have done in the past.
The times, they are-a-changin'.
