I had the air conditioner type Hagar spoke of in my Blazer. When I bought a new truck under warranty I didn't want to risk negating the warranty. I carry a small generator Home Depot Coleman about 2000 Watts and a single tank contractors compressor. This is in the truck only when I'm fishing the sand out east and there is no air (Napeague, Hither) I keep a Truck air in the vehicle for emergencies, the prestone, a camel plug kit, and a High-Lift Jack all the time. Now heres the best part, something a quick-air will never do. That generator will also run a BLENDER, keep a bottle of Jose' some mix and fish ice from your cooler next to your plug bags and I can asure you the sunsets will be brighter the next time you're waiting for a tide.
It's February and i need Margaritaville

Doughboy,
Sorry couldn't get back to you, kids school projects take preference for computer time. You can still keep your air conditioning with the AC rig. Those guys in Commack used to be listed in the LIBBA newsletter. I'll try and find it. They put on an extra pulley and make up a custom bracket for the compressor. I thought about an Inverter but a compressor uses too much juice, although the blender might work. If you see a white F-250 at Shinne**** with some guys looking for salt come on over. ;)
Tight Lines,
