I was sitting in living room with 2 fellow fisherman bored talking about fishing regs and what not when I decided to break out my new stick. Captain Neil was nice enough to give me one of his Long Islander series rods. It is bright yellow with black raps. It is a great all around twig -light enough to bottom fish but enough back bone to black fish with. I can't wait for my first trip with it, I have a new rod and a new boat to start a new season.

if its his medium blank I have a couple of them and they are great tog rods, also great for deep water fluking with heavier lead

It's been a few years since I've been on your boat. More than that actually. The last time I was on the Osprey, you were still a mate and probably about 16 or 17. We had a great day with plenty of fluke caught for my friends "Bachelor Party" fishing trip!

Hope to get on the boat this season for fluke.
