YYEESS!!!
WADER,
I like it. The only problem with it is who would come to defend us when all of the countries that hate us send all of their WMD to Cuba and have a big missile launching party???
This points out the problem with the logic of these war protesters. They keep seeing the world in black and white. War is bad. Killing people is bad. But live and let live doesn't work anymore. The world we live in now requires a balance between aggression and diplomacy. Because of 9/11 we must now pick our spots to set limits of what policies are acceptable by other regimes. If we don't then this country becomes just another entry in the history books.
Regardless of the latest reports we read I know deep down that we are the most altruistic nation on the planet. Do we sometimes take advantage of a situation financially? Sure. But that's what capitalists do. The other side of that though is who spends the most capital on helping others in the world community when they are in need? We do. So can anyone really say that we are simply imperialists looking to take advantage of a situation? If you think that then you are not paying attention.
The U.N., the war protesters, and anyone else who thinks that this war is about anything but protecting the freedoms we enjoy in this country are just a flock of lambs. And I have serious news for them as they are all hiding with their collective heads in the sand. The wolves are at the door!!!
Now what!
Go Troops!!!
