In case you missed this on our homepage:

Captain Keith Hunt stopped by the office today with the photo of this 725-pound giant bluefin that he took on 9-19 30 miles SE of Montauk. This monster was taken on a herring bait on a 50w, and took the anglers for a 5-hour ride before coming to gaff.
Keith said? We weren?t expecting much as the bite?s been pretty slow, then someone sees a fish at the side of the boat and it turns out to be a 400-pound giant. Then another and another, and each one seemed to get bigger until the big one grabbed our bait and took us for a ride.?
We did hear of a few other giants also landed that day in the same area, and word has that there?s a bite going on as I pen this page.

925

I was out there over the weekend and there was a 925 caught also. Few more also, totall of about 4 giants.
When I say out there I mean in Montauk.
Lots of nice yellow also from the 75 -125 range. The boat was out of Gone Fishin for the yellows.

Private Boat

Mike
Sorry I don't remember but it was private. They where working off the trawlers about 28 S/E of Montauk. He also pulled some nice dophin. To bad this blow is going to screw everything up for a while.
There have been some big ones coming around and most of the reports have been positive.
Should of taken a peak at that 125 yellow but I was on my way home with my son.

I'll keep my eyes and ears open and let you know who is doing what. this is my last weekend out there and it is supposed to be snotty all weekend.
Figures!:(
