i fished that pier quite often a few years back before i got my boat. never saw more than a few fish come up a night, which was sad counting the amount of people there. never anything too talk about either except one VERY large shark of some type, that they proceeded to poke at , cut up and prod for hours until they left.

its certainly not the place to be if you are the type to inform and educate people of the regulations and on basic fishing ethics. no matter how nice, respectful and helpful you try to be. i found that one out the hard way
