I was wondering if anyone has any info or experiences with the 69th street pier in Brooklyn. I see tons of people fish here, but at most I've seen snappers to ****tails and one small weakfish pulled here. What I would like to know is are there any bass or big blues to be pulled here???????????

i fished that pier quite often a few years back before i got my boat. never saw more than a few fish come up a night, which was sad counting the amount of people there. never anything too talk about either except one VERY large shark of some type, that they proceeded to poke at , cut up and prod for hours until they left.

its certainly not the place to be if you are the type to inform and educate people of the regulations and on basic fishing ethics. no matter how nice, respectful and helpful you try to be. i found that one out the hard way
