I am planning on heading over to Belmont Lake next week to pick up my first 4WD Permit. Is there anything I need to bring with me besides my Truck Registration. I am specificly asking about an equipment check. Shovel, rope etc.

They usually don't check at Belmont but you never know.

Check out the LIBBA website for a list of needed equipment.

They don`t check anything any place you get the permit for years now. Not even the truck. Just the reg. I get mine in Montauk and I bring out the wife`s car.
Got mine 2 weeks ago along with fort and empire permits.

Picked up my 4 X 4 and Empire pass at Belmont 2 weeks ago.
Vehicle registration is all you need.
And a check to pay the fee's
