How about Montauk? Beautiful beaches and I hear the fishing isn't to shabby either.
4 Day Getaway
The wife told me to book something for a long weekend starting 8/1. I'm looking for a place driving distance from NYC that has a nice beach for her and good fishing for me.
The lodging can't be a dive and preferably the drive should be less than 5 hours.
