Hi Folks,

For those who are still in the "show" mood, don't forget the 2nd. Annual LI Sportsmen Show. March 28 - 30 and it will be held at the Suffolk Community College Sports and Exhibition Hall - Located in Brentwood just off Wicks Road.

The doors will be open at 4PM on Friday, 10AM - 10PM Saturday and 10AM-6PM on Sunday.

There will be many top notch speakers (mini seminars) on Long Island throughout the weekend!

So, who's planning to attend? I will be there all three days. ;)

I'll be going on Sunday. Care to share the speakers and the schedule for the seminars?
I would enjoy a good fishing seminar, as would the guys I'm going with. By the way, what booth will you be in? I'll be sure to stop by.

Any other members with booths? Any other members going on Sunday? Maybe we could all meet at a prearranged time and spot?

See you there!

Hi LobsterD,

Which booth are you in? Let me know.

Hi BoatGuy,
I will be running around but you can find me at the CampSite Sport Shop promoting the AquaSkinz Drytops. ;)
Here is Sunday's seminar schedule…. There will be several exciting speakers: 12:30 Capt. John Raguso will be speaking about Shark How To. At 2PM, My buddy Tom Melton / Surf Action - Day and Night and at 3PM, my sharpie pal Rich Tenriero will be talking Big Bass and Blues. Ohhh… at 11:30AM, There will also be this "Crazy" guy speaking on Blackfishing the Rocks. ;)

Hope to meet ya. :)

Hey ChumFace

Yes, last year this show was absolutely great and it's a huge place! In fact, you don't need to pay for parking and it's very convenient. You asked me if I knew anyone who is giving surf seminars? Absolutely, the Surf Guru, Legendary Fred Golofaro will be speaking on Friday at 5PM on Snakes for Stripers and he will be speaking again on Saturday at 5PM on Great South Bay Weakfish. On Sunday, my pal Tom Melton is scheduled (2PM) to talk about Surf Action - Day & Night.

Also, there will be other sharpies out there like my freshwater buddy, Tom Schlitchter. He will be speaking on Friday only at 6PM. Anything you want to know about LI Freshwater Tips… He is da man!

On Saturday, Mark Malenovsky will discuss Fly-Fishing for trout. 1PM, Capt. John Raguso will discuss Inshore Dolphin & Tuna Tactics. 3PM Rich Tenreiro will discuss Western Sound Fluking, again, at 5, Fred Golofaro (weakfishing), 7PM, there is an exciting seminar on Bridge Fishing for Stripers by John Paduano and at 8PM, The infamous Capt. Nick Karas will be talking on The Essentials of Sight Fishing.

On Sunday, yours truly will start the first session at 11:30am and I will be discussing the arts on Blackfishing the Rocks. ;) If you like Shark How - To, at 12:30 Capt. John Raguso is the man! At 2PM we have Tom Melton talking Surf action Day and Night and Rich Tenriero will close the session with Bass and Blues.

That's pretty much on the Seminar… and there will be a host of great fishing vendors attending this Show.

Hey Al,
Met you at the Freeport show. You were too busy gabbing on the phone at the Brentwood show! I told Harry at J and H about the Aquaskinz, said he would be interested in finding out more info on it.Let me know if you're interested.
