I am currently in the process of having one built. Are there any other board members who own or have any experience with this boat?

I'm suprised he hasn't responded to you yet, but Leprechaun (who is prolific on this site) has done alot of research into these boats. Also, look at the thread about a "31' JC" on the "ask the pros" board and you should find info on the seaworthy. IMO, it's the prettiest boat made today and an awesome fishing boat. What are you going to power her with?

It was Leprechaun who first introduced me to the Seaworthy 28. I had several discussions with him on the Shamrock Owners club board and he has offered a tremendous amount of excellent advice.
After much consideration and based on the recommendation of the Seaworthy builder I decided to install a Yanmar 315hp diesel. These boats cruise and handle best at speeds around or just below 20 knots which is plenty fast for my needs.
