Thoughts, predictions.

I think the Rangers/Devils series will go the distance. Goaltending duel, Devils must score. Of course, I want the Devils to win that one. Sick game yesterday. Hopefully the Penguins beat the Sens. Goaltending will be a key in this series. I think the Caps will prevail. Caps are hot entering. They have been playing playoff hockey for a couple weeks, hopefully they could keep it up. Canadiens will beat the Bruins. Canadiens are fast. As far as the west, the Wings will sweep. The Wild might beat the Av's. I hope the Stars beat the Ducks. Sharks should win, should be a good series. We'll see how it all plays out. Great matchups all around.

I thought there were some hockey fans on this board. Guess i'm the only one excited about playoff hockey. Looks like VS. will have some decent coverage of the out of town games.

Flying up Thursday to Montreal to catch games 1 and 2 of the Habs/Bruins series (Habs in 5). Go Habs Go!

As per Devils/Rangers (Rangers in 7). This will be a tough series. All will boil down to an Original 6 Stanley Cup final -- Habs/RedWings.

Have fun. Made it up to the old Montreal Gardens for my bachelor party in '94. Hockey is all over that town and felt like what Yankee stadium is to the Yankess. Always remember as a kid, watching the team in the 70's. In the background, you'd here that guy starting the chant..."GO HABS GO....GO HABS GO". Love the boys from LI and have hi hopes for them myself. Going with them or OV to go deep but think it's SJ's year.

I'll be honest I'm looking forward to the Caps Flyers more then any other series. There going to kill each other. Out west SJ Calg will be the series to watch as they will also be killing each other. This is my favorite time of year Hockey and Fishing what more could you ask for

I agree. Flyers/Caps and Sharks/Flames are the best first round match ups.

Anybody try to watch Pens/Sens last night on VS. Couldn't get 10 seconds of continous play without the picture spazzing out. Hopefully VS. gets there chit together. Second game was fine. Anyway, Pens looked good. Av's win in OT. Calgary takes game one. Rangers win.

Same here. Picture was horrible on all VS stations last night during the first game.

Good games last night. Glad to see the Ducks got shutout. Detroit wins. Sharks tie up the series with Calgary. The Habs beat the Bruins. Tonight should be interesting. Devils looking to tie up the series, and the Caps starting there series against Philly. Wild looking for a split with the Av's later tonight. Not sure which game to watch. Caps/Flyers or Rangers/Devils.

I started watching the games on VS last night, but switched back and forth to the Frozen 4. Notre Dame beat Michigan in ot. Amazing game...back and forth. I don't think ND has ever won a national championship in hockey.

The son of one of the Hanson brothers from the movie slapshot plays for ND. I believe he is draft eligible for the 08 draft.

The greatest part about the Habs games is they dont rip you off for a beer

. I went to a game there 2 years ago it was unreal and the beers were $2.75 or $3.75 croud was LOUD to say the least. Almost as loud as the Coliseum
