I am in the market for a 11ft surfrod going to use it for open beach and occasionally montauk fishing for bass and blues throwing plugs and bucktails up too 3oz I usually prefer a light rod I am going to match it with my vs 250 I want a good all around rod for both montauk/open beach I was thinking of the lamiglas gsb132L is that too light?

For what you describe, I'd choose the "gsb1321L" over the "gsb1321M".

I have both the 1L and 1M. The 1L is a little lighter, a little less expensive, and the one I'd go with if I fished the beach primarily and Montauk only occasionally. The 1L can handle a good fish.

I like the "Ron Arra" XRA 1322, but you're talking another $80-$100 over the 1L.
