Fishing method Boat

Was able to slip out late Tuesday afternoon to see if the Bluefish had turned into Stripers over at 11C yet. What a treat, there were only about a half dozen boats anchored up togging, and the area near the buoy was wide open for drifts, and I was the only one there.

Wind from the East, fish bite least was right on. I managed a handfull of 24 inch bass, no bluefish in an hour and a half. Fish were hanging out at about 55 feet, incoming tide. Lost two A47 jigs; one in a mystery fish, and one on bottom. Think I better spool up with something heavier than 12 pound for this type of fishing.
