Headed out togging with crabby Tuesday afternoon. Fished 4 hours. Caught 55 togs with about 30 being keepers.



Crabby had the largest at 21 inches and 7#



Mixed in were 1 fluke, 1 sea bass, and 8 porgied all 14-15 inches.

30 keepers!? How deep of water were you fishing? What were you using for bait?

30 fish over 16 inches. Kept 4 for the table

All caught on asain shore crabs on tidal tail jigs

Ken is the Togmaster. He put us over a load of fish once again. He also caught 2/3 of the fish.

These jigging trips are the best togging I've ever had. We had 10 fish in the 5 lb range. All on July 9th. Who would have thunk it?ToungueToungueToungue

Yes. Western sound. You need a Great camara man to achieve no visable landmarks. Lol. And someone who understand the meaning of spot burning

John, sorry I missed you at the shop. I was running late and you were busy upstairs.

I had good hook ups with the 1/2 oz jig tipped with an asian crab. That's all we used. The larger fish seemed to pick up the jig and hook themselves.

Next time I'll plan some extra time so we can talk.
