George and I left Riverside at 2100 hours last Thursday, planning to take Mr November's advice to move a little west. We transited directly to Jones Rock where we started trolling artificials, marked few fish and had no hits. We then proceeded to blue fish shoals where we dragged our equipment on the downcurrent side of the numerous humps and ridges in that area. we marked a significant number of fish in the middle of the column and at the bottom, but once again had no hits. concluded that it would have been nice to have some bunker chunks or eels to provoke some hits. still an absolutely beautiful night to be out, one night shy of the full moon. we were back home by 0030 hrs.

full moon -1
