This report just confirms everyone Quailoh just reported. Plus I witnessed Quailoh's 16lb catch.

Got out at dead low this morning south of Stamford, and first found big bluefish off the westside in 75' caught a dozen. Then the tide kicked in the fish moved on top of the reef. Not so schooled at first, but an hour into the tide the fish were thick again, with a good amount of bass mixed in. Spent two hours released dozens of fish, probably 2/3 bluefish to bass.

The fall run is hot, hope the weather holds for the weekend.

Capt. Mike
