Roger reported a solid day of fishing and stunning weather today aboard the Gail Frances today. We had about the same amount of cod fish as yesterday. A few fishers had two cod apiece to take home. Nothing big with the best of the lot threatening the ten pound mark. Just a couple of short cod. We had a little of everything else today as well which included big porgies, keeper fluke size sea flounders, ocean perch, blue fish and red hake. Add it all up and we put the day together. Anchoring in the morning and drifting in the afternoon both produced about equally as well. Cod fish preferred bait today. The unmentionables were generally kept at bay as well. Another beautiful sunny mild day with light winds on tap for tomorrow and Capt. Rich will be ready to set sail aboard the Gail Frances at 7 am. Just a few cooler pictures today to showcase the variety courtesy of Roger.
