Again a lot of jumbo fluke on the boat today with the theme of quality continuing. Capt. Matt commented on the majority of the fish again over 4 lbs with a dozen or so fish over 7 lbs and the biggest of the lot dangerously close to the ten pound mark. A few limit catches. A fair amount of sea bass up to 4 lbs mixed in. Tomorrow looks like another fantastic weather day to be out on the ocean and Capt. Matt will set sail aboard the Gail Frances at 7 am.

Capt. Mike reported the morning half day was solid. Some nice sea bass and a few nice fluke. The afternoon half day saw stunning summer weather and a light crowd and the fishing was excellent according to first mate Dan. First mate Dan reported there were a number of sea bass limits for fishers and a lot of the sea bass were really good size fish with sizes to 4 lbs. Dan also reported there to be a nice handful of fluke mixed in with the sea bass. The sea bass have really been taking charge on the half day trips the past few weeks!! Tomorrow is family day at the Frances Fleet where two adults and two children age 12 and under can go for $105 plus rod rentals ($5 per rod). The Lady Frances will set sail at 8 am and again at 1 pm with Capt. Mike at the helm.

Capt. George reported the full day charter found some nice fluke to 5 lbs and some good size sea bass today. It was a later bite. Still some dates available for private charters. Call the office and speak to Roger Tammy or Cory for further booking details.

Last night’s bass trip did not work out like we had hoped. The fishing was poor. Biggest fish was around 15 lbs. A few sea bass mixed in and one blue fish. We try again on Wednesday Night at 7 pm by reservation.
