Drifted early this morning in the state boat channel from Amity cut to the 38 pole past Gilgo ,caught some small bass on bucktails, water still very "muddy", marked lots of small bait moving thru, quiet but beautiful morning ........

nice to hear something happening close. I've work the same place for the last 4 weeks and it's nothing like it has been in past years. Dirty waterhas really slowed the whole area. How was the water temp.

Water was 58 DEGRESS..I had caught fish this time last year in alot of spots that didnt produce any action for me this morning or a few days ago,also the water color seems to play a big part ...surprisesurprisesurprise......Sorry Flukeslayer it was a lot brighter out this morning when i took the shotsurprisesurprisesurprise, you were suppose to be able to see the RMB in the background..RollRollRollRoll

Cool pic looks like a rainbow. That happened to me to, then I realized
there was a setting for low lighting conditions (new camera)Big diff. Tony are the markers in place
for the amity cut yet??

try in front of hemlock or garbage cove before sunrise with large sandwoms on a hi-lo rig. Weaks and Bass are there. They spook easy so be as quiet as possible. Maybe I'll see you guys out there this weekend with the new moon tides.
