late report. took a last minute trip out on the jib last night. things were slow over by the kismet area and the water was pretty dirty. headed over to the bridge and for the last 2 hours of the trip it was 1 bluefish after another. i lost count of how many fish there were. i only kept a few and threw back god knows how many. 1 barely legal bass was caught in the mix.

a message to all who are guilty. and you all know who you are. when you are out on a bluefish slaughter only keep what you are going to eat! i see all too often too many anglers catching tons of blues to throw in there bucket. and then at the end of the night they are running around "does anybody want to keep my fish?" thats a real shame!!! catch and release a few too!!!

overall a great night on the water! how can you beat a few hundred fish with the mix of beautiful weather?

Yes, that drives me crazy.Mad
All you ever hear is how most people hate bluefish and would never eat them. Yet, you go on an open boat and catch blues all night and everyone is kept. It is a shame.down

I should feel embarrassed about keeping a legal sized limit. To many GREENIES here. Save the whatever, it all sounds good. Try conserving your oil consumption, only use what you need.

Now, you've got a corpse in a car, minus a head, in a garage. Take me to it.

Greenies???? come on steamboat!

Killing a fish just to kill it is WRONG... if your not going to eat it throw it back or right when you catch it, give it to someone who will in fact take it home and enjoy the meal!!! how simple is that to comprehend...
