Fished the canal this afternoon with a friend started to fish 1 hour before and 1 hour after the locks closed manage to get 5 fluke all b/t 15-18 inches ,1 blue about 5 pounds and the fattest searobins ever, all on 1/2 ounce homemade bucktail tipped with squid, noticed several larger fluke 20+ inches and 1 very nice weakfish about 7-8 pounds also come up, hung around till the weather turned.
