Hello Everyone,

Left Greenport 6:15 am and headed for Montauk via boat.

Herring were there, but not thick at all this year.

It was a pick here and there.

No birds anywhere and no Bass. I didn't want to go on the southside becaause it was pretty choppy and I was there 10 days ago only to catch a few small keepers and many many shorts.

I searched almost 4 miles past the tip and Nada and it looked like all the boats were doing the same. Not that many out there.

If you are planning to go out there tomorrow, save your

money. Just my thought.

P.S. Does any one out there think that the vicious big mouth bass , herring catching , gannet diving run will happen this year?
