Finally got a break from work after 17 straight days, got excited about the reports from saturday and headed out around 6:30 a.m, tried for herring by bridge and captree pier , had no luck, saw a whole fleet of boats head outside, made a run, didnt see any birds working, and from the radio chatter not many boats were having any luck either, drifted off demo on way in by dredges nada, went in for lunch, made a second trip in p.m trolled shad umbrela rigs in the SBC and e/w channel for the same.....only thing i caught were these nice shots....lol...

Oh Well..........

I called it a season last weekend. Pulled the boat and blocked it. Why bother...what an off season in these parts. Was hit or miss at best for anything "big". Keeping my fingers crossed and hopes up for a better spring. Maybe next year we can hook up Tony and do some fishing together.
