Caught the end of the outgoing last night for Two (2) short bass 20in & 16in and a half dozen skates. It was such a nice night that I couldn't go home so I stuck around for the incoming and caught Four (4) more, best of which was 27in. And of course moore skates too!!!

The incoming never actually came screaming in and it died just when I thought it should start ripping.

Shad were there in droves. They started at the end of the outgoing and were still flopping aroound when I departed the bridge at midnight. I had one livelined for a couple hours, but no takers.....

I like that set up for bassing. It reminds me of my Newell with a Penn International travel rod-nice and light but good sensitivity & backbone.
