Fishing method Boat

Didn't care that it was raining and windy, wanted to get out and catch some fish. Hit the Stony Brook surf at about 10:30am and fished for an hour and a half only getting 1 sea robin on a teaser. Threw poppers, bombers, yo-zuri's and couldn't get anything. It was pretty windy but the sound was nice and I wanted to catch fish so I called my buddy and asked if he wanted to go out on the boat.

Launched at Mt. Sinai about 2pm and went straight to one of my porgy spots. Chummed the water up and only got 2 porgies and a bunch of sea robins. So we decided to head to another one I know by Port Jeff.

Started chumming the water up over there about 4pm and immediately had life. Ended up with around 20 porgies between the two of us with all but a few keepers. Also nailed a schoolie and a nice winter flounder, wish they were in season. All the fish were caught on fresh clam. Left once it started to get dark out.
