First off, thank you, thank you, thank you for cutting back the brush through the pine bluffs on Burma Road!

Second trip out for me this season, first on the Smiths point side. Got to the inlet for the final two hours of the flood. I fished the backside for 45 min. for nothing at all. Steady west wind made for wind against tide around the bend. Saw some fish come over rails of the Rosie anchored in. Moved up front and had plenty of blues on white bucks. Felt great to be into fish! The flood stopped at 9:15 and so did the bite.

Go after tautog at Morichies inlet West jetty on Sat. While not much of action due to cold water, here comes skin divers. They don't care you are there or not, just go down your ground and stir all over the place. At first, one diver started with safety dive flag on small inflatable. Later this diver without any flag, venture out near boat pasaage. It seems very dangerous. I have to call 911 to report but, when the Park Police came, he was safer area. My question to all your fellow jettybums: What is the regulation; I heard any diving in inlet is prohibitive? How can I react when this kind ignorance happens. Naturally, for as a short tempered person like me, it creats very unhealthy situation. As we all know, we go fishing to relax and no stress. we are trying to fishing, they are harvesting at same ground. It is already hard enough, isn't it?
