Blackfishing was on the slow side today at the reef. I think the rough seas the last couple of days has the bottom churned up. The bite was slow. We caught about 35 blacks with only 8 keepers. Biggest fish was about 6 lbs.

It was a little sloppy in the morning but laid down real nice in the pm. Should be better tomorrow. Back to the reef!

On the way in to Breezy Point, birds were everywhere but we didn't stop. The heaviest concentration of birds/fish were off the Coney Island Flats and just east of the jetty.

Tight lines!
