we'll give it a try tonite opposite where you fished - outside mamaroneck either inshore near the rocks or else off 42 on LBRLSCK's boat and he'll probably post since I'm leaving for PA this wknd. they were out a couple of nites ago and saw some action in about 20feet of water if I remember correctly.

Jets, you're not alone - we fished the first half of the outgoing this morning in the rain for nothing but a bunch of half hearted taps from blues, and LOTS of crabs - pulled up one big calico crab.
Same spot, tide, and time that I caught two 18 lbers two days ago. More bunker out today though.
I figure it will get more consistent as time goes by. I'm going to try some of my spots on the Larchmont/M'neck/Rye side soon too.

Don't always believe everything you read
Until you see some pics, hopefully most are the truth but.. .. Keep at it.. Once the pressure goes up the swim bladders will be happy

I fished with some friends Friday night from 7:30 to 11:00 with no action in front of Hemstead. Even the party boats were moving around, so I guess they weren't doing well either.

got out fri nite out of mamaroneck with lbrlssck and my brother and our friend andrew for the outgoing with chunks and chummed in a spot that drops from 14 to over 20 feet wherfe a guy was getting fish a couple of days before but we didn't get anything for an hour or so. Picked up and hit another spot thats been good on outoging also at the same depth and it was slow for an hour and a half then I got a 24" and later a 28" and then my brother got one that was jsut shy and then andrew got one that was short and we missed a couple of hits. Then capt lbrlssck gets slammed on a bunker head that was 44" and fat. He can decide for himself whether to post his pic with the fish but here it is back at the dock. Thanks for another nice nite on the water Bob
