Headed to C.S.H. again today for some fluke fished from 11 a.m. till about 4 p.m. with two friends a strong wind made for a better drift then yesterday so I thought for sure I'd do better then yesterday. We used squid, sandeels, spearing combos on white spro bucktails. I fished every single corner and every single drop-off inside for three fluke all 22" 4 lbs. Then headed out to try bouy 15 nothing. Either the fish moved or the 100 boats inside yesterday picked the harbor clean of fish. I heard of people limiting on Sun. back west but could not find out where. It would be nice to know of some fluke spots outside of Hemsptead Harbor these C.S.H. are a gas killer. It's funnny I read someone wrote about cookie cutter fluke they were catching 22" 4 lbs. almost every fish I caught this year fit that mold not one short caught all year.

Did you notice if the party boats were there again? Sunday was a slaughter, may take a few days to fill in again. The drops in the harbor have been under relentless pressure for weeks now, four party boats and a hundred private boats. Its a small harbor. 15 has produced fewer fish, but much larger when you do hook up.

C.S.H on Mon. had the James Joesph and another one but only like 4 private boats that I didn't see the name of. I tried 15 and got nothing but I did hear of a 9 lbser that came from 15 on Sun. I really just have never had luck at bouy 15 I don't know to stay north of the bouy (but that's real deep) or south.

south and deep . It is definitley a quality over quantity spot this time of year. I have taken a few 8 pounders there , but sometimes thats the only fish of the day.

I know they say if your not losing tackle then your not fishing for big fluke but I lost more tackle drift matinecock point then you could belive 3 people on the boat and we would lose a set-up every drift. That was fishing south of the bouy. Could someone shot me a P.M. if they know of any porductive spots outside H.H.? I don't need exacate locations I will do the exploring just general locations. Thanks.
