Trolled around yesterday and hit all the local spots.Starting at the Yankee we then hit the Burnside,Rockpiles 3,Virginia,Compass Rose and finished up just north of the HA Buoy.We had nice clean bluewater with the exception of the HA where it was kind of dirty and green. We dropped a nice bluefin 1/2 mile west of the Virginia.North of the HA we had about a half dozen or so false albies. There was also quite a few weed lines and we saw a few big turtles,no birds to be seen.On the way back we heard of an exceptional bluefin bite 8 miles north of the Texas Towers.Beautiful day out there and was glad I played hooky from work again.
