Fished the "dirty" Cholera area today for some albies and one blue fin. Once again, after a long trip from Howard Beach, the Cholera area had dirty water and we got some reliable info from a few kind captain's that better water was south of Cholera.

We headed that way and after about five miles saw some results. Three albies and one small blue fin about 15-20 lbs. Thanks to all of those who provided the info, we could not have done it without you!

We immediately reported our success over the radio and I believe we put a few boats into some fish. All our fish were returned to fight another day!

Oh yeah, thanks to Mother Nature for such a beautiful day...

Bring on the TOG baby!!!!

sundancer, Yeah, we had a one way trip of over 30 miles so I would say we ran at least 80 miles total for the day. Long way to go for a few small fish. Obviously, we hoped for some blue fin (in the 30lb. class) on light tackle. Either way, we had a beautiful day and as usual...a ton of fun!

Know this is not a comment on bft.... But if you guys are serious about your TOGS checkout a boat named Celtec Quest out of Port Jeff on L.I ..... Capt Desi knows his s&*t..fished there 2 yrs ago in Mt Siani an refuse to fish any other boat for blacks.... 5 lbers on his boat are throw backs... YOU WONT BE DISAPOINTED~! Phil
