Fished today on my friend Anthony's (Newtown) boat and had a blast. We started out early and fished for about 5 hours in the area of the pier and the boil.It started out a little slow,we found bunker right away but besides a chopped in half bunker by a bluefish we were fishless for about an hour and a half. Then it happened, surrounded by bunker and we started nailing some real nice bass.We landed at least 20 nice bass between 15 and mid 20's and three big bluefish. Most of the fish were taken on live bunker but in the end Anthony took a few more on heads. We also dropped a few when trying to set the hook.Loads of action, too bad the weather wasn't as nice as the fishing. Thanks Anthony.

Sounds like yesterday. We didn't bring in any blue's but plenty of heads for sure, nasty suckers.

Yep for sure it was a trip to remember. I hope to fish like that again next week. I can do without the rain but will fish in it if I must.
