Fished Floyd Bennett Field (same as the past two days) starting at sunset till end of outgoing tide. Had a bite almost every drift. Boated 8 bass - all keepers to 33". Lost one fish when the leader broke :( and had several runoffs with spit hooks. Kept the one fish limit :) Boarded by USCG without incident.

In the spirit of joeybud, I am going to be as specific as possible so others may benefit. I was fishing off Floyd Bennett, south of the NYPD helipad where the seawall begins the diagonal turn southwest towards the MPB. I wasn't getting too close to the seawall, with most fish being picked up in 40+ feet of water. I used live eels on 3x3, 5/0 circle hooks, and 6-8oz of lead. Night is the only time that this spot has worked for me. I tried the outgoing on Monday during daylight without a hit. Went back after sunset and landed 3 bass to 21lbs. It's too bad the weather looks lousy the next few days, cause the outgoing tide will begin around sunset. I'm working Wednesday night, but if the weather isn't too bad I should be back at the spot Thursday night :) See y'all there!

Jim THankyou very much for the specifics. I am sure you will have plenty of negative comments from people who do not appreciate it, but not from me.
