With 1st. mate Tom Arp and MEIROWITZ on board yesterday we trolled from JI to FI Inlet on a beautiful ocean that did not show much visible life. The action was slow but had a few Bluefish along the way and some Bass as well, 2 of which were 20lb. class fish. From FI Inlet we ran back to the west of Jones and trolled down that way for a short while without a touch. Finished the day out in the inlet with some live bait where we scored with 1 more Bass to wrap the day up, thanks BlueJacket II for putting us "on the meat" for the last fish.

Great day, great crew, GREAT Blackberry Brandy, thanks MEIROWITZ.

Matt, it was a pleasure fishing with you and Tom, for which I thank you and hope we can do it again soon. Catching the fish was the icing on the cake! I let Capt. Neil know that his bunker spoon rod did its job well and, of course, he was thrilled. Nice gesture from your friends on the BlueJacketII, giving us the live bergals so we could finish the day live-lining. Of course, the pit stop at the "Bucket of Blood" was.....memorable! Thanks again!
