Fishing method Boat

Had to break through the ice again, made one pass with a white spoon to the stacks in 50' of water with 400' of wire out, than one pass back, had to get the kids off the bus. I had one fish on but choked and dropped it, saw some other boats hooking up, my temp was reading 42 degrees and the waves were mostly small.

It's tough to work the wire and run the boat at the same time Matt. Good try.

I was also out that way today.Very SLOOOOOW. 3 fish,27"-34"-38".Trolled from 10am-3pm.We did'nt mark much bait at all.All fish caught in 46-52ft of water,on shad rigs, water temp was 46-51 degrees. On the way in terns were working off the west jetty, did'nt stop to see.Beautiful day on the water.Talked to one guy at the fuel dock on the way back in,He worked 3 hrs in the am for 2 herring in the bay.He was rewarded with a 23#er caught outside.

Hey Matty, I thought you would've had the boat out of the water by now. I pulled mine last weekend, and NOW the weather is warming up. Let me know if you need a companion so that your not doing it all alone. Send me a PM if your interested.
