Got onto the Thumb around 6:15 this morning, friends took a few casts, light winds and some weeds.



Than we did the south shore 500. Overlook, Cedar, Gilgo, Jones beach feild 6, past through Point lookout, and then finally Long Beach. Rapped it up around 9:00 didnt see any significant bird activity.

Took the Grand Tour also. Started sunrise at Smith Point and worked back west...Demo, RM 5, Field 6, West end 2. Even took a look by the west end piers. Same results. Nice day to be out, even with no action.

With these winds and freezing temps I think its the beginning of the end for these parts... JS
