Fished this morning from 6-9:30a.m.Plenty of small bait around no fish.Got a boil on a metal lip on the open beach fishing a nice trough, didn't come back for it.The beach has really improved structure wise,on the other hand wish there were more fish.

Question for you guy's???????

How far are the draggers & netters aloud to work off the beach, there was 1 netter working no more than 200yds. off the beach,& a dragger working about 1/2 a mile.Is this really aloud??????????

Now I know were all the fish are!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I dont know whats allowed, but that sounds really close, and i think it is a shame. seen the same out in east hampton once, and they wiped out an entire school right in front of our eyes, it was sickening. _ TONY

jpf, we have 3 gillnetters working this area, didn't you see them last week? Funny thing is with your new FINS permit you'll get to see them netting bass west of the bridge in illegal waters for commercials and landing them in Moriches Inlet where there legal. NAH! They don't do that! There targeting weaks and blues?
