Fished today with my friend Rick in 66-71 ft of water south east of Fire Island.Beautiful day,2-3 ft rollers, overcast most of the day and cooler than its been.Fishing was hot,We limited out between us and had just one fish that was 17".Everything else was 18" and up to about 7 lbs. We also had two small blues, two seabass to 15", a few sandsharks, about 15 short fluke and about 3 dozen skates.Spearing, squid and fluke bellies were the bait with plain wide gap hooks,no teasers. Also met up with my friends from "MAKO MAGIC" out there.Guys, thanks for letting us in on the action.
