Fished from 0445 to 0900. Caught 2 stripers 27" and 5 blues all on bucktails before the crowds came. Many of these folks have little respect for this area and they leave mountains of trash and fishing line to trip over. They keep shorts, drop sea robins and skates down in between the rocks for them to die and they are turning a once beautiful area into a stink hole! I heard the area by the construction dock is disgusting as well.

Any how,

Where were you fishing? You dont have to give the exact location just the general area. Thanks in advance. Batfish

You should really stop bitching. If you haven't put specific location on your reports you wouldn't be mobbed (as much) by googs. You got what you asked for.I hope its has been worth to get your name on a website. If anything I would make you clean up after them.Maybe then you will think twice before you actually give them a location of a exact rock you were standing on..

My comments are not about the crowds. The crowds have always fished that area for many many years! Is about the slobs and the disrespect for our beaches. Most times I still manage to catch fish no matter if it get busy or not. Guess what basschaser? The WE II area is not a secret. Just like fishing the Montauk light or turtle cove is not a secret or for that matter any beach on Long Island. Slobs are slobs. Also what is a goog? I never heard of that expression. P.S. I do make it my practice to pick up some of the trash when leaving the beach so there is no need to threaten me. Tag & Release Tiderunner
