My son & I tried 3 different Jbay spots this afternoon and it was finally the last spot that found the action. For the first hour of incoming as the sun was sinking to the west we found the schoolie stripers hitting topwater lures. The plugs needed to be small like the the size of the fish to be effective. They were picky but with some teasing we were able to get them to strike. Good to see some life. It was a nice warm up. Now let the games begin.
