Report location New York > North Fork > Orient Pt - BROOKLYN GIRL - Blackfish Boat Limit - Two Over 10 Pounds Thursday!!
Fishing method Boat
« Previous Report Next Report »

The weather has been tough but the Blackfishing has been superb when we can get out.

Thursday’s 16 angler charter for Matt and friends needed just two drops to limit the boat in just a few hours, releasing many.

Each drop produced a double digit bruiser and there were many 5-7 pound Tog in the catches.

Hi hooks had 6-7 good ones, orl. Francisco landed a 10.5 pound brute narrowly edging out a 10.25 pounder for the pool. What a day. Perfect conditions and everyone cashed in on the bite.

Easy 100+ Blackfish with 60+ keepers landed with a boat limit of 54 taking the slow jog home to port. A nice side catch of Sea Bass mixed in with a few 3-4 pound jumbos in the mix.

Lock n load action with hungry Tog thumpin the baits!

Pics below tell the tale

Upcoming Availability to Blackfish on the Brooklyn Girl:

Monday (Vet’s Day) 11/12 - Full Day Blackfish - Room for a few

Give Us a Shout to Get Out!

Had a blast!

That's me with the Pool fish! 1st class trip. Our group will definitely be booking another trip with the Brooklyn Girl in the future!

An apology to my wife:  Sometimes it's easier to ask for forgiveness than for permission.
