got out this morning, last of the incoming for about 90 minutes. FEROCIOUS tide after the storm. No way was I getting outside today. no bites. no bait seen.

Looks like Tuesday might be the only day to get out.
Friday, the ocean was like GLASS.
I "Flew" West to Captree. Caught small blues and dogs.
The word was that the bass were EAST of the Inlet.
(40 Inch Range).
You never know...

it seems they are east and west - just not here. skipped over Moriches again this year.
I thought Friday night going to be the night perfect. The right tide, calm ocean, tons of bait.... nada

I hear them being caught here and there. But this fall - should be happening.

Capt. Jan, I heard they were blitzing in the breakers just outside the inlet on Saturday afternoon. Back in the day, my friend, you would have been out there in your boat catching them, lol.
