yesterday. Start of the outgoing. spearing/squid combo. Stuck exclusively to inlet, it was a perfect drift every time. had about 15 short fluke. mostly between 16-18 inches, and too many prehistoric sized sea robins to count.

We need fluke bite outside to salvage the fluke season...... Shinny and Montauk are beating them up .

I tried outside today. 60to 80 feet. All shorts and plenty of sea robins.

I AGREE

It's a FLUKE-PER-SECOND BLAST in back of the inlet.
If not a Fluke, it's a MEG SEA ROBIN. GREAT FOR KIDS.
All Fluke Were short... Roll

Both cuts have holding short fluke below 17 inches but East Cut has some nice size trigger fish coming up.
