wow, what a fantastic day on the Captree Princess. great weather and bail job on giant cbass (Full boat limit++ ORL) and jumbo porgies. guys were releasing keeper cbass you drool over. hyannis style porgies and the biggest kinds of knucklehead cbass with many double headers of keeper cbass.I saved a lot of gas and time fishing local to close in Captree State Park.i had limits of cbass and porgies and honestly was only fishing part time. enjoying walking around taking pictures and chatting with new friends like Pete, a newbie caught his first ever cod , a 22 lb pool winner with a boat rod! Valerie was putting on a show on catching giant cbass, swinging double header keepers and a few that looked like 5/6 lbs. i heard a guy in the bow swung doubleheader of 5 lb cbass. the mates started cutting fish around noon and barely finished by time we were back at dock. which by the way was in daylight as we loaded up and could leave a non fishing aside when i got to my truck in parking lot it had a huge antifreeze leak( truck, an oldie but goodie).imagine Capt Rob telling his mate to help and give me 6 gallons of antifreeze to get home rather than have me deal with 2 tows. that is the kind of customer experience that stands out to me the most today. needless to say i limped home safely( 38 miles)with Capt Robs 's generous gesture. so for Capt Rob 2 thumbs ++ up and many, many thanks. And of course thank you to the professional crew of Patrick, Danny and Travis who were always where they needed to be without being asked or told. This boat is recommended 4 thumbs up. You owe it to yourself to sail with Capt Rob.

You do not forget days like this

Between the fantastic fishing( Catching), perfect weather( took off my sweatshirt and thermal top), the nicest new people i met fishing along side and by the galley, flat seas , one foot or less , it was memorable.
but the way Capt Rob extended himself to help get me home ( 41 miles using back roads and service roads)is something this seasoned fisherman will never forget.
