Good Afternoon Everybody: My crew consisting of Me, Andrew, Andy, Chris, John, & Nicky had a Blackfish Charter on the NoTime Charterboat out of Oceanside, N.Y with Capt. Nick Savine, & His Mate Bobby yesterday morning. We met at the Dock 7:00 A.M. & shoved off at 7:20 A.M. We were Greeted By Cold Early Morning Temperatures, but had a Light North Wind at 5 Knots, & a Flat Ocean in Front of Us. On the few drops that Capt. Nick put us on, we basically had a Consistent Bite All Day, Except on Slack Tide. This is the First Time my crew fished on the NoTime, & we all agreed that Capt. Nick is a True Professional, willing to give anyone a hand with his fine knowledge of Fishing Techniques. I have fished many times over the years with him. Mate Bobby was an Absolute Gentleman & a Hard Worker. We all reached Our Legal Limit of Blackfish, but Between the 6 of Us, caught at least 80 Shorts. Nicky had the Biggest Tog of 6 1/4 Pounds until I nailed him 30 Minutes before returning to the Barn, with a Nice Hard-Fighting 7 Lb. Lively Tog. It was Great to Fish with the Guys yesterday, & especially seeing Andrew, who we haven't fished with since Last Year. A year that has just Flown by. A Big Thank You to Everybody for Their Help, & to John who drove us safely back & forth. My next scheduled trip is this Saturday in Rhode Island on another 6-Pack Blackfish Charter. Until Then, Please Keep Safe Out There, Catch Them Fish, & GOD BLESS.....
