I went out this morning at 8:30am on the Daybreak at City Island, Bronx. The first drop was ok with a few big porgies . Then, the master himself, captain Pete , took us and almost as if he landed the boat on top of a school of porgies !! We were catching them left right and center !! The bite went on and on and on until it eventually got a little slower. But at the end of the day !! There were over 400 keeper porgies on board !! Plus over 200 safely released !!I myself had 43 keepers and about 20 throwbacks. Everyone ,all 14 of us ,had over between 40-50 porgies!! Come on over to thr daybread and have yourself some good porgies !!
