Headed into Smithtown Bay about 8:15. Heavy fog at Crane's. We fished in the bay until enough of the fog burned off to make a run east. Had a slow pick of shorts. Headed to Port Jeff, fished the shoal for a (very) little while with no results.

Broke free from the fleet and things got better. Managed two keepers 21" & 18.5" and a pick of shorts. Had a couple of sundials too. Both keepers caught as the tide was just about high. Fish spitting up squid.

Had to cast for a drift at times. As usual bucktails and GULP! was the choice of the day.

A beautiful summer day out there yesterday!
